HEALTH PROMOTION
You may ask why is health promotion such an important factor in obtaining optimal wellness?
Health promotion improves the overall health status of communities, individuals, cultures and families. Fitness and health promotion enhances the overall quality of life, which reduces the likelihood of strokes, cancer and hypertension. Diseases of that nature usually affect people with poor diet and unhealthy exercise regimens which cause disease, increases aging and deterioration. Health promotion can benefit the patient, but it decreases the cost of public care which provides better healthcare services for all demographics. Health education is a significant part of obtaining optimal wellness, learning starts at home where teaching is a must.
You can receive health promotion, fitness distribution and disease prevention from your community advisors and primary care physicians. A main part of health promotion is preventive care which is a vital factor of improving one's overall quality of life. There are certain preventive care programs for communities and families that try to minimize the severity of certain prevalent diseases in different demographics. These programs can differ in authenticity, effectiveness and accessibility management due to location, economic status and/or overall quality of care.
