Are You Dehydrated?
HYDRATE
Most of us are dehydrated, we don't intake the right nutrients or amounts of clean water necessary for our anatomy. In America, we are fascinated with artificial flavorings, we have not yet grasped the concept of what real food actually is. Our bodies are made up of 75% water which means that hydration is vital to our wellness status.
It is important to track and monitor cravings, because what you crave derives from a hormone or depleting area that needs a quick boost. Food journals and diaries are easy to manage and access when choosing better lifestyle patterns. Preventive care and staying regularly hydrated is important in order to avoid unnecessary eating or cravings, so that the body constantly remains at a healthy state.
Remember, as you consume caffeine, the more the body will release fluids faster, including water - so if you are a coffee drinker, it is highly recommended to intake 2x more water than the average daily water intake. Incorporate more veggies & fruits into your body in order to maintain high nutrient and hydration levels.
Signs of Dehydration:
Headaches, migraines & cramps - due to inconsistent water intake which causes the brain to shrink from your skull, which activates pain receptors. Hydration is key to mental cognition and neurological health; ways to minimize this is to intake more water from beginning to end of days. Water retention is common, so in order to maintain hydration levels, keep track of water intake per day.
Fatigue, loss of concentration, bloating & tiredness - some people occasionally get light-headed our dizzy when standing up or sitting for a long time, due to the blood volume level feeling the effects of fluid loss. Ways to gain more energy is proper sleep and water intake, women need at least 70oz per day, whereas men need at least 100oz - which is the minimum average for most people. Incorporating daily stretching & meditation into your morning and nighttime routines.
Mood swings & hormonal imbalances, sunken or dark eyes, seizures, muscle tension, inflammation, urinary & kidney issues, impulsive behaviors, unstable emotions, acne/skin blemishes, clogged follicles, poor root stimulation, decrease sexual & emotional health
