Significance of Silence

SILENCE IS GOLDEN

Stillness and silence help boost your intuition and energy levels, it allows you to understand yourself and others better. It enhances your overall behavioral patterns, experiences and thinking process. Silence allows you to take a deeper journey into the unknown of what you may or may not know exists; as we age, we tend to neglect the idea of stillness due to the daily chaos our schedules bring.

Peace and quiet decreases stress and levels of tension that are common in teenagers and adults. Moments of quietness allows you to tap into your creativity portals which utilizes certain social skills we possess. Every moment of silence we experience, we must take full advantage of those critical times when our brains mentally detox themselves. Silence provides us with a form of balance, trust and relaxation we tend to misuse and overlook as we interact and grow. You can utilize silence as a helping factor in negotiation, delegation and self-reflection.

Silence revitalizes your brain, strengthens intentions, critical thinking and overall planning skills which enhances our overall performance. There are various forms of non-verbal communication skills which can be used for babies, children, teenagers and adults. There are certain ways to enhance your silent moments such as making direct eye contact, pacing yourself, understanding body language and realizing self-worth. Silence creates space, which is beneficial for everybody involved.
