Mistakes Become Habits

 BREAK THAT CYCLE

When it comes to health and wellness, preventive measures are some of the most effective ways to decrease virus or illness risks. It's critical that you understand that importance of change, growth and detachment. As we get older, we assume the only thing we can become addicted to is drugs, alcohol or sex - however, we have been failed in many areas pertaining to our social and personal lives. Constant mistakes lead to new habits formed, which can control or interfere with your overall energy and performance levels.

Breaking generational cycles, reforming poor habits and eliminating unnecessary mistakes can enhance every area of your livelihood whether at work, home or school. Patterns form habits which can eventually manifest into cycles - people learn in various ways but consequences through reinforcement methods are more beneficial. Most people have to understand their triggers and perspectives in order to understand why certain mistakes or habits continue to form or reappear.

Therapists and life coaches often say that "during your journey of finding and eliminating our self-sabotaging behaviors, you will find ourselves making many mistakes. Sometimes, because of frustration, we will be too hard on ourselves..."

Practicing mindfulness is the act of being aware of self, pertaining to one's emotions, thoughts or feelings without actively engaging with those things. Being more aware of yourself, thoughts and behaviors can provide us with a more solid understanding of habit forming. Mindfulness allows you to realize and comprehend what & why you are lacking in certain areas or ways. Develop better ways in responding to your triggers which affects critical thinking skills which influences habit forming techniques.

Most people tend to go through this process alone because it usually involves removal, readjustments or detachment. The major contributor to this process is understanding if the habit or mistake serves you in any way - meaning does this prevent or allow you to become better or healthier? If not, remove the thoughts and speak through the emotions or behaviors, you're experiencing. Small changes are more meaningful than distant big gains, these small changes allow us to stay focused on the goals ahead versus worrying of past failures or regrets.
