Covid: the New Influenza
WHAT ARE CORONAVIRUSES? The most recent pandemic began in late December 2019 for most Americans this was one of the most frightening, inopportune, and dangerous disasters that has hit the Americas in decades. Coronaviruses first emerged during the late 1920s found in animals, more specifically found in mammals and birds; these viruses present cold, flu-like symptoms. These symptoms can be mild or fatal depending on the person, common symptoms have been noted as body aches, headaches, chest tightness/pressure, loss of smell/taste, and sinus drainage. However, more critical, fatal symptoms include but aren't limited to fever, dry cough, overproduction of mucus, decreased lung/respiratory levels, body fatigue/cramps, and/or swollen adenoids/lymph.
